Britney Spears Officially Signs 15 Million Dollar X-Factor Deal!
After months of negotiations, Britney Spears has sealed the deal.
E! News reports that Spears will be joining Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as a judge on The X Factor for a healthy $15 million.
The site reportsthat Spear “had agreed in principle to the deal weeks ago and had spent the last several days working out the fine print.”
The faces from season one, judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones were dismissed after some disappointing ratings. Since then there had been speculation about bringing in a wide range of possible judges, from Mariah Carey, to Beyonce, to Janet Jackson.
There is still expected to be a fourth judge, which some have speculated to be either Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato, but nothing has been confirmed. Fox announces its fall schedule at the upfronts on Monday, and the answers could come then.
