VIRAL HEARTWARMER: Son With Disability Surprises Dad Home From Deployment By Walking To Him For The First Time
It’s not surprising that this video took just two days to go viral. A boy with cerebral palsy couldn’t walk when his dad left on deployment. When the father eventually returned, his son had a big surprise in store for him… he walked to him.
The Welcome Home Blog is always uploading new videos of soldiers home from deployment being reunited with their loved ones. They’re always touching! Here’s what the Mom who submitted the video says:
“When my husband left on his deployment, our 6-year-old son could not walk on his own. He has cerebral palsy. Doctors originally said that he would never walk or do much of anything. While daddy was away, he learned to walk. For his homecoming, we set it up for Michael to walk to his daddy for the first time ever! We kept the fact that he could walk a secret the whole time his dad was gone!”
It really doesn’t get much sweeter than this.
