Will Ferrell And Gordon Ramsey Get Pretty Beat Up During Charity Soccer Game

Ah, charity! Raising money for people who need it, doing something good for others...it's supposed to give you the ultimate high, right? Not when you get injured in the process!

Ah, charity!  Raising money for people who need it, doing something good for others…it’s supposed to give you the ultimate high, right?

Not when you get injured in the process!

An all-star Soccer Aid match was held this past Sunday, which pitted The English Team (Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs and Marvin Humes) against the Rest of the World team (Gordon Ramsey, Will Ferrell, Mike Myers, Gerard Butler, Edward Norton, James McAvoy, Woody Harrelson and Michael Sheen).  The money raised would go to UNICEF.

You think it’d be all fun and games, but during the match, former professional player Teddy Sheringham decided it would be fun to tackle professional chef Gordon Ramsey.  He ended up hurting him so badly, that Ramsey had to be lifted off the field in a stretcher!

But that wasn’t the only injury!  Will Ferrell also had to limp off the field during the second half after hurting his leg.

Both stars are now doing okay, and in case you were wondering, the English team won 3-1 and UNICEF received $12.8 million.
