Jennifer Hudson Joins SMASH For Multiple Episodes

Jennifer Hudson is set to appear on the NBC hit series “Smash.” As Uma Thurman did in season one, Hudson will appear on a multiple episode story arc.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the former American Idol contestant amd Oscar winning actress will play a Tony-winning stage actress on the show. The storyline is currently focused on the launch of a musical about Marilyn Monroe.
