Joblo is reporting today on rumors that Affleck has so far been the only director out there to recieve Will Beall’s script for Warner Bros’ upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE movie.  Taking into account Affleck’s string of directorial choices (THE TOWN, GONE BABY GONE), that means what we would be seeing from him would be a much darker, grittier version of the superhero team, probably a la Christopher Nolan’s Batman universe.
