Robert Pattinson Will Make His First Public Appearance After Kristen Stewart Cheating Scandal
It seems like after weeks hiding under the radar, Robert Pattinson will finally be stepping out into the public eye.
After disappearing following (supposedly ex-) girlfriend Kristen Stewart’s cheating scandal, Pattinson’s rep says that the actor will be appearing soon to help promote his new film, COSMOPOLIS, telling People magazine,
“Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting…No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.”
If correct, that means that the 26-year-old actor will be showing up at the New York premiere of the film on August 13 as scheduled, and is booked to talk to reporters the next day.
Both Pattinson and Stewart have been pretty silent since Stewart’s initial confession about an affair with her SNOW WHITE director Rupert Sanders, with Pattinson supposedly hiding out at the Ojai home of his friend and co-star Reese Witherspoon, and Stewart hiding out at her parents’ in Woodland Hills.
We’ll see who gives their thoughts first. In the meantime, there has been no official word on whether or not the two will still present together at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 6th…Obviously, that’ll be an interesting day for all of us…
