Did Nicki Minaj Threaten To Shoot Mariah Carey? Get All The “American Idol” Drama Here!

I know the feud is strong over at “American Idol”, but did Nicki Minaj threaten to shoot Mariah Carey?

On yesterday’s episode of “The View”, Barbara Walters helped fuel the rumors by recounting what Mariah told her in a new interview: “Nicki walked off the set and multiple people heard Nicki say, ‘If I had a gun I would shoot the b****.’”

But that’s not all…Mariah also apparently told Barbara that while Nicki has expressed love for her, she has yet to hear an apology and decided to hire extra security for her protection.

Almost immediately after the interview, Minaj slammed Carey with an explosive multi-tweet rant that called Carey out on running to Walters and asking for pity: 

“I don’t call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave…I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn…Tried to keep quiet but let’s go!!!!… I thought we resolved it yesterday but I see u want ur pity party to continue. So I’m bout to po dot tea.”

So how did the day of backstabbing end?  With one hell of a new nickname from Nicki for Mariah: 

“All I do is compliment u. That’s not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don’t have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated. Shady McGrady…”

As the anger explodes between the female judges, it seems like the male judges are just trying to keep some sort of composure.  While the single original judge, Randy Jackson, has yet to comment, fellow new judge Keith Urban spoke out on Wednesday night, saying, “Playing the U.N., yeah, it’s great. I mean look, we’re all passionate people and we’re learning a new dance… we’re all a work in progress.”
