Which Marvel Actor Has No Desire To Reprise His Role In Future Films?!

In the world of Marvel comic movies, it is pretty standard for an actor to sign up for multiple films at once.  But there is one actor who has absolutely no desire to continue playing his role after his first outing.

In a new interview, actor Hugo Weaving, who played villain Red Skull in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, said that even though he is contractually obligated to appear in future Marvel films, playing the tomato-based Nazi baddie is not something he would want to do again:

“[When I signed on for ‘Captain America’], I didn’t think I’d be in ‘Captain America 2’ or ‘3.’ I don’t think Red Skull will be there,” he explained. “And it’s not something I would want to do again. I’m glad I did it. I did sign up for a number of pictures and I suppose, contractually, I would be obliged to if they forced me to, but they wouldn’t want to force someone to do it if they didn’t want to.”

Weaving said that while he liked trying out something different, he wants to always work on films that he has a connection with:

“It was good to do it and try it out. But to be honest, it’s not the sort of film I seek out and really am excited by. I like to get involved with projects that I really have a personal affiliation with.”

I just have to know…did he feel like he had a personal affiliation to MATRIX REVOLUTIONS?  Because something tells me nobody else did…
