Does NBC Want To Replace Jay Leno With Jimmy Fallon?!

Rumors are now spreading that NBC is planning on replacing Jay Leno one more time, and while it won’t be with Conan O’Brien, it will be with another “Late Night” host.

It seems like it’s 2004 all over again…

Rumors are now spreading that NBC is planning on replacing Jay Leno one more time, and while it won’t be with Conan O’Brien, it will be with another “Late Night” host.

Worst Previews is reporting that after a significant ratings drop (which led to Leno taking a 50% pay cut to make “The Tonight Show” profitable), the historic network is looking for someone new to replace him when his contract expires in 2014.

And as you may have guessed, the first in line for the job is none other than current “Late Night” host Jimmy Fallon!

So far the network hasn’t commented on the matter, but if this does happen, one has to wonder how long of a time buffer NBC will give Fallon to bring the “Tonight Show” ratings up…

And if they don’t give a lot of time, what does that mean for Conan over at TBS…?
