WATCH: Beyonce Addresses Lip Syncing By Singing National Anthem LIVE At A Press Conference
Actions (in this case, singing) speaks louder than the spoken word! At a press conference about her upcoming Super Bowl performance today, the singer asked the audience to please stand, and proceeded to belt out the National Anthem, without any background music. And then, she went on to explain why she lip synced during President Obama’s inauguration.
“I am a perfectionist,” said Beyonce, “And one thing about me: I practice ’till my feet bleed. I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live television show… Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check… I did not feel comfortable singing live.”
She said for the Super Bowl she will “absolutely be singing live.”
Will that be all now? Enough of this NON-troversy!
