FOOD FIND…?: 20th Annual Spam Competition Held In California

I am DEVASTATED to find out that there has been such a powerful, porcine, annual event occurring unbeknownst to me. The 20th Annual Spam Competition was held in Isleton, California this past weekend, and I am already searching for an Air BNB for next year. The event boasts unique and creative ways to enjoy your Spam such as Spam-jalaya, Spam Jerky, and Spamatoni. Even more colorful than the dishes, are the outfits chosen to wear to the event, with people wearing Spam costumes and Spam accessories. Almost as juicy as a freshly opened can of Spam, is the cleverly named prize of the event, the coveted Spam-ly Cup, which is better than the “Prince of Pork” title I came up with.
