I am suddenly ok with the frozen temperatures outside because it gives me a reason to proclaim that “the cold never bothered me anyway.” If only I could find a braid to match my beard…With the trailer for Frozen 2 being released we can only hope there are even more iconic catchphrases in the subzero sequel.
I don’t even know where to begin with this trailer. First, it’s visually amazing. The water that Elsa dives into is so realistically breathtaking that I am sure it is only a matter of time until human actors and real life landscapes become a thing of the past. The tone for the sneak peek is pretty dark but the concept of autumn is prominent so I think some sort of change is in store for the kingdom of Arendelle. Other important things to note: Elsa and Anna’s new hairstyles and outfits are the reason why Disney remains the GOAT. You rock that pony Elsa! Even more important to note: there is a new character that is shown for a split second and I need to know who she is!
A mysterious gust of wind blows passed and lifts someone out of the leaf pile behind her. Can this mysterious newcomer control the wind?! Does she have a power ballad entitled “Let It Blow”?!?! How am I supposed to sit on these burning questions until the fall?! The sequel hits theaters on November 22nd and the whole gang is back to provide the voices with Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff and Josh Gad as Olaf.
