The Cast Of The Musical ‘Six’ Performed A Virtual Collaboration With 3,000 Fans

These queens are making excellent use of our current cyber renaissance.

It is a royal bummer that the highly anticipated…now even more anticipated… musical, Six, never had the chance to open on Broadway due to the coronavirus-related closures here in NYC. The British musical is a modern retelling of the lives of the six wives of King Henry VIII with a fun twist: the show is presented as a pop concert. In this concert each of the wives take turns singing lead to prove that their experience of being wed to the well-known be-header was actually the worst. Think Spice Girls meet global history 101.

While we may have to wait till June to see the queens live, the casts from the U.K, London, Australia, Broadway, Chicago and more virtually gathered together to collaborate with over 3,000 fans to perform the opening number of the musical, “Ex-Wives.” This is all for a good cause too, by the way, as the video shares links to several charities that are doing some amazing work during this pandemic. Think royalty meets charity.
