It has been truly a sad week for anyone who loved Naya Rivera. The 33-year old, multitalented actress, singer and mom went missing during a boat trip with her son on Lake Piru in Southern California. Sadly after days of searching, Rivera was found dead with authorities concluding that in the last moments of her life she managed to muster up enough strength to get her 4-year old son back into the boat but not enough to save herself.
The Glee star rose to fame during the show’s 6-season run as she portrayed the fierce and fabulous Santana Lopez. Rivera’s success continued after the show as she released the hit song “Sorry” in 2011 and went on to star in At The Devil’s Door and Devious Maids. Of course Hollywood tributes have been pouring out with messages coming from former cast members expressing just how much they will miss the shining star. One tribute, in particular, came from Glee co-star Amber Riley and it is perhaps the most beautiful way to remember Rivera. In a post on Instagram Riley shared a video of Rivera singing a duet with her young son with a caption that read “My favorite duet partner. I love you. I miss you. I don’t have words right now, just lots of feelings. Rest In Peace Angel, and know that your family will never have to worry about anything.
