Rob Reiner Reflects On His Mortality In Newly Discovered Interview

To say the world was shocked to learn of Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle’s murder is an understatement. The news felt completely unbelievable.

In a strange coincidence, just months earlier I uncovered an old backpack holding two date drives. They were dated 2014, and labeled “And So It Goes…” I realized immediately what it was. I had performed an interview with both Diane Keaton and Rob Reiner that year for that movie. It never aired.

After loading up the interview, I was stunned to hear my chat with Reiner touch on aspects of his life and the importance of appreciating every moment.

We had many moments of levity, but this one really stood out to me…

I’m still at a loss over his murder. He was an incredibly kind, intelligent, talented man. What an incredible loss.
