VIDEO: “Bubble Pop” The Catchiest Song You Don’t Understand.

If you ever doubt how much sexuality plays a role in music videos, try watching a music video in a language you don't understand. Suddenly the booty shaking seems a lot more obvious. Even so, the tune "Bubble Pop" by Hyuna is pretty darn catchy, and now it's surging on social networking sites.

If you ever doubt how much sexuality plays a role in music videos, try watching a pop music video in a language you don’t understand. Suddenly the booty shaking seems a lot more obvious. Even so, the tune “Bubble Pop” by Hyuna  is pretty darn catchy, and now it’s surging on social networking sites.

Shot in Okinawa, Japan, none of the song’s lyrics are in English except “hey boy” and the song’s title, “Bubble Pop” which coincides with a rhythmic shaking of the backside throughout. The single was released today.

Hyuna is sort of the Miley Cyrus of her country. She’s 19 years old! She jumped to fame as a member of the South Korean girl group “4minute.” She also appeared on Korea’s version of “Dancing With The Stars.”
