The Rock for U.S. President?? It Could Happen!

First, we had Arnold Schwarzenegger wanting to make a run for the White House. That stopped because of a few rules about citizenship. Now, we have a man who wants to run, sans any border issues: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

First, we had Arnold Schwarzenegger wanting to make a run for the White House.  That stopped because of a few rules about citizenship.  Now, we have a man who wants to run, sans any border issues: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

In a new interview with Moviefone, The Rock not only spoke about his career in the ring and on the big screen, but about his ambitions for the future, which could even include a presidential bid:

“Right now the best way that I can impact the world is through entertainment…One day, and that day will come, I can impact the world through politics. The great news is that I am American, therefore I can become President.”

Interesting…

Well if it’s any indication, you should also know that Johnson knew about Osama Bin Laden’s death before any of us!

“I got friends in high places and low places…It was a very interesting day. I knew the President was going to give his speech; I thought he was going to give it at a certain time and so I thought, “I think it’s appropriate that I tweet ‘I’m damn proud to be an American'” and keep it in that space without giving away too much information. And then I got a call saying, ‘Now the President will give his speech in a couple of hours.’ So we had about two hours of Rock tweets out there.”

All I’m saying is if The Rock has THAT level of power, to know about Bin Laden’s death before the rest of the damn country…maybe he’s already on his way.
Until then, you could catch him in JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND.
