It’s been a rough week for Christina Aguilera. In both cases, it’s much ado about next to nothing.
A week ago she had a minor lyric malfunction while singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. And now, a minor stumble after her Grammy performance is getting some buzz.
It’s important to note that Aguilera, 30, brought the house down and received a standing ovation for her performance of “Natural Woman” and other songs during a tribute to Aretha Franklin. She was joined by a group of spectacular singers that included Jennifer Hudson and Yolanda Adams. Then, as the medley concluded, in a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ moment (and with DVR and Youtube, there is no longer such a thing as a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ moment), she took a fall, and quickly recovered.
