Johnny Depp is returning to his career roots!
EW.com is reporting that Depp will film a small, uncredited cameo for the new film version of his old television show, 21 JUMP STREET. No other details were given.
The ’80s crime-fighting TV show had young-looking undercover cops cracking teen crime. This new movie version features Channing Tatum and a slimmer Johan Hill in the lead roles. Hill also co-wrote the script with Michael Bacall.
Hill told MTV News last year, “It’s an entirely new imagination of what ’21 Jump Street’ is…we’re not doing a spoof whatsoever. It will be crazy characters that are in very unreal circumstances sometimes.”
