Say What?! Larry King And Wife In Breath Mint Informercial

I’m almost speechless. Fortunately, as I sit here speechless, my breath smells incredible. That’s because I just watched Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick, (who is totally gorgeous, btw… Shawn, I mean.) sell me some breath mints called “BreathGemz.” (Please note that ‘Gemz’ is spelled with a ‘Z’ because that’s clearly more ‘cool’ and will most definitely amount to greater sales. The set is all shiny and news-desky with a real ‘this breaking fresh-breath news has just come into the newsroom‘ feel.

The product used to be known as ‘BreathAssure’ but got messed up in some legal schmegal stuff, (I have no idea – read more here) and now it’s back and better than ever.

So, why would King do this, you ask? Because as part of his deal he gets a part-ownership in the company. And if he’s going to be making out with this gorgeous wife of his, he might as well have fresh breath. Advertising Age has more.
