According to TVLine, Izzard has been cast as Grandpa Munster in NBC’s upcoming Munsters reboot.
The show, which is now being called “Mockingbird Lane,” is executive produced by Bryan Singer and Bryan Fuller. They’re plan is to take the quirky half hour sitcom and turn it into a more serious and “visually spectacular” hourlong drama.
On one hand, I hear Eddie Izzard, and I smile and laugh. On the other hand…The Munsters…? Really…?
