SAY WHAT? Pizza Hut Perfume Will Make You Smell Like Freshly Baked Pizza Dough?

The stupidest ideas get the most news coverage, so therefore, this intentionally stupid idea is therefore genius.

It began as a joke – a Facebook post asking fans how much they loved the smell of Pizza Hut pizza… and suddenly the Canadian division of the company decided to bottle some ‘limited’ (thank God) edition bottles of that very scent – boasting top notes of freshly baked, hand-tossed dough.

“Beverley D’Cruz, Marketing and Product Development Director of Pizza Hut Canada says “What better way to celebrate our Facebook fans than by providing them with a way to enjoy the fresh smell of Pizza Hut pizza whenever they want!”

Only 110 bottles were produced and shared with Facebook fans who made their lustful desire to smell ridiculous known.

And so – another ridiculously smart PR move was born.
