Justin Timberlake Joins The Growing Number Of Pop Stars Releasing Documentaries On Themselves
With the premiere of Beyonce’s self-produced documentary just days away, Justin Timberlake is also planning to release a doc about making his new album, “The 20/20 Experience.” He began filming last June.Timberlake’s latest single, “Suit & Tie,” was just released, and his new album drops on March 19. He recently performed at DirecTV’s Super Bowl party, and is also performing at the upcoming Grammy awards.
He delivered the news about the doc to Ryan Seacrest: “Not to give too much away because you know I like surprising the fans, but that little piece of footage is from a documentary we started working on throughout the making of the album, which started last June,” he said, referring to the youtube clip he released where, in voiceover, he discusses his return to recording. “So it was more a little excerpt from that, which I kinda thought about afterwards. Like, oh, people don’t know about the documentary. This seems a little weird.”
Most of his album was made before his wedding to Jessica Biel over the summer.
