FIRST LOOK: Zac Efron Is Shockingly Evil In New Ted Bundy Biopic

This biopic brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “if looks could kill”…

The latest Netlflix biopic entitled Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile chronicles the life the infamous serial killer, Ted Bundy, through the perspective of his longtime girlfriend, Liz. The Ted Bundy crimes became a national phenomenon because of not only the heinous nature of the murders, but also because of how dashingly handsome and charismatic Bundy was. Now when I hear the words “dashingly handsome and charismatic” one, steely eyed, chiseled actor comes to mind…Zac Efron. While this role is a large leap from the rom-coms and musicals the 31-year old actor is best known for, there is no denying his uncanny resemblance to the serial killer. Judging by the trailer, it seems like he not only captures the killer’s look but his essence as well.

The cast is chock full of talent with stars such as Lily Collins (Liz), Kaya Scodelario, Jeffrey Donovan, Angela Sarafyan, Dylan Baker, Brian Geraghty, Terry Kinney, Haley Joel Osment, James Hetfield, Grace Victoria Cox with Jim Parsons and John Malkovich.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile launches on Netflix on May 3, 2019. Click below to watch the entire, eerie trailer!
