In 2005, a younger, idealistic me spent the day at the amazing Macy's Santaland, under the name "Peppermint Stick." It was a great time, and the kids were both funny and adorable. (The ones I didn't scare.) Some of them are applying for college now.
It always seems that Christmas ads start showing up earlier and earlier. This one just might make it worth it... A beautifully animated tale of a bear who hibernates through Christmas every year. Until his best friend comes up with a brilliant, touching idea.
It may be out of season, but DNSLOL posted this Halloween photo that is a must see. Hard to say if that's an epic fail or an epic WIN. I'm going with WIN!
Jimmy Kimmel cleverly provides snapshots of crying faces... can you guess whether they're crying from the Easter Bunny, or vaccination shots? Turns out the crying faces of babes look strikingly similar.
"Back in the day" it was a holiday tradition to watch a yule log crackling for hours on a local television station. This year, Applegate Farms has released a 30 minute video of bacon frying. It's equally soothing.

Honestly, what did we do before the internet? Here, because it exists, is the famous "pole licking scene' from the holiday classic 'A Christmas Story,' re-shot, with all the characters replaced by hot dogs who talk.
It's kind of disturbing to me when computer animators give animals human mouths. This cat's teeth creep me out!! But even though this yodeling cat is creepy, it hasn't stopped it from becoming a viral sensation. The video, created by the folks at Walmart to kick off the holiday season, has gone viral.
Coke has put out some heartwarming holiday ads over the years... in this case, a campaign out of Chacarita, Buenos Aires, Argentina is going viral. In it, unsuspecting soda machine patrons are surprised with a secret passage into a Holiday Wonderland.
Jimmy Kimmel asked viewers to tell their kids that they could open ONE present early… But he told the parents to make sure it was a TERRIBLE present. The parents did - wrapping things like an old banana, a bottle of juice, or a half eaten sandwich. Then, they videotaped the kids' reactions. It was priceless.
