“American Psycho” Author Bret Easton Ellis Shocks Fans, Says ‘Glee’ is Like a ‘Puddle of HIV’

Author Bret Easton Ellis, the so-called mastermind behind “American Psycho,” “Less Than Zero,” and “The Rules of Attraction,” had a few choice words to say recently regarding “Glee”

On Tuesday night, the author tweeted about the show, saying:

“I like the idea of Glee but why is it that every time I watch an episode I feel like I’ve stepped into a puddle of HIV?”

Backing that up, his following tweet shows that there was no joke or mistake, saying,

“No, I wasn’t drunk last night. I was watching Chris Colfer singing, um, ‘Le Jazz Hot’ and felt like I had suddenly come down with the hivs.”

Okay then…not smart, not funny, and all I can think of is ‘wow…’
