BOND 23 Gets a Release Date

After many delays and the slight possibility of never seeing another James Bond, an official release date for BOND 23 was announced today.

According to WorstPreviews, MGM and EON Productions producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli have announced that the 23rd James Bond film will begin filming later this year, and will hit theaters November 9th, 2012.

Daniel Craig will be returning as Bond.  After the not well received QUANTUM OF SOLACE, fans could also take comfort in the fact that Javier Bardem is confirmed as the villain, and Sam Mendes (who did AMERICAN BEAUTY, and what I consider to be one of the most beautifully shot films ever, ROAD TO PERDITION) is directing.

With that type of backing, it’s Mendes’ to mess up, but so far, things are looking very, very good…
