Nicole Richie will serve as a celebrity mentor on NBC’s new reality competition series, Fashion Star. 29 year old Richie is a designer for her own line “Winter Kate.”
Menswear designer John Varvatos and Jessica Simpson, (who is practically a gazillionaire from her own fashion line.) on the series, which is hosted by Elle MacPherson.
No premiere date has been set for the series, which pits contestants against one another for a multimillion-dollar contract to launch his or her own brand.
