Teen in Coma After “Anderson” Stunt Gone Wrong

Anderson Cooper’s new daytime talk show is already in some trouble, after being responsible for a teenager trying a skateboarding trick that left him in a coma.

Gawker is reporting that while filming stunts of himself on a skateboard for an upcoming epidode of “Anderson”, the teen hit his head, and was in a coma.  Reps for the show confirmed yesterday that it had asked its guest for video footage for the episode, which focused on the science of the teenage brain.

Cooper says in a statement he’s “very saddened to hear the news” and is praying for the teen’s recovery.
