The rule should be: If you stop listening before three seconds in, it never happened. But go ahead and be brave… ‘Country singer’ (and yes, the quotes are necessary) Lisa Gail Allred has a new single. And it is… well… awful. Rebecca Black suddenly sounds like Barbara Streisand.

Mind you, I’m not in the business of squashing people’s dreams but JUST LISTEN!! Lisa Gail Allred may be an adorable,sweet woman – but This. Is. Horrible. It’s not just Lisa’s fault. It is every last person in her vicinity that didn’t step in and tell her to stop. this. madness. I know dreams can come true and all, but this is just plain rough to the point of hilarity.

But before you think she’s just a one hit wonder, think again! According to her music site, she has five other tracks, including “YOUR EASY ON THE EYES” (note the misuse of the contraction You’re), “DIRTY GIRL” (ew.) and “JOHNNY AND JUNE.” But your favorite is likely to be her take on the Patsy Cline song “BLUE“.
