Shailene Woodley Has Been Offered The Role of Mary Jane Watson In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2!
Could we soon be witness to the battle of Peter Parker’s loves?
Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that DESCENDANTS star Shailene Woodley has officially been offered the role of Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming AMAZING SPIDER-MAN sequel!
After deciding to do a complete 180 from Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man trilogy and focus on Peter Parker’s high school love interest, Gwen Stacey, it is being reported that producers are not only looking to incorporate Mary Jane into the next film, but also Harry Osborn (originally played by James Franco).
So will we be seeing a battle between Mary Jane and Gwen Stacey? Will Gwen Stacey be killed off, leaving Peter alone yet again to ponder the promise he made to her father? Will Andre Garfield cry like Tobey Maguire did in SPIDER-MAN 3?
I guess we all just have to wait until May 2, 2014 to find out!
