I didn’t say that…he did!
In a recent interview with Newsweek about his political beliefs and causes, Clooney straightforward said that he would never be president. Why, you ask?
“I didn’t live my life the right way for politics, you know…I f**ked too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that’s the truth.”
I told you I didn’t say it! And MY version was toned down!
The reason for the comment, Clooney says, is that he believes honesty should be the policy when it comes to political campaigns and knows buried skeletons will always come out of the woodwork.
“[I] would start from the beginning by saying, ‘I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let’s talk about the issues.'”
While he may not be running for office, Clooney is currently directing and starring in a new film, THE IDES OF MARCH, which centers around a dirty political campaign.
