Katy Perry Sings “Friday” In Concert. Crowd Goes Wild!

Katy Perry did her own torch-song version of Rebecca Black’s iconic (oh yeah, I said ‘iconic”)  song “Friday” while at a concert in Melbourne.

I know it’s easy to be a “Friday” hater… but I don’t blame Rebecca. She didn’t write the lyrics. And while yes, the song is indeed ridiculous, do I need to remind you that once upon a time there was a song called “Pac Man Fever,” and before that, “Mashed Potato?”

Someday you will have a baby, or be babysitting one - and let me tell you – when it comes time to sing  happy little tune to that little tyke, you’ll have a much easier time singing “Friday” than “Alejandro” or “Bootylicious.”
